User Acquisition (Marketing) Artist


East Side Games is on the hunt for a User Acquisition (Marketing) Artist to join our new User Acquisition Team. You see art through a business lens and can help us create better quality advertising. You’ll partner with Data Analysts, Marketing Analysts, Campaign Managers, and other internal stakeholders to develop new campaigns that will be viewed by new and future players worldwide. You’ll also lend your creative expertise to the User Acquisition team’s early days and future planning, helping shape its direction, goals, and vision.



  • Design engaging and innovative multimedia advertising assets, including:
    • Videos
    • Trailers
    • Static images and banner ads
    • Playables
    • Print
    • Film
    • Cinemagraphs
    • Brainstorm with Campaign Managers and assist with copywriting.
  • Develop marketing campaigns that align with ESG's overall branding and corporate identity and collaborate with game artists as needed.
  • Respond to ongoing opportunities to leverage pop culture and current events in the creation of relevant ads.
  • Monitor best practices in UA creatives for the mobile and social games industry.

  • Post-secondary education in art.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in marketing focused digital multimedia creation and/or graphic design.
  • Previous experience in video editing.
  • Strong understanding of and experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Previous experience in HTML5.
  • A passion for mobile and/or social games.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working within a (digital) ad agency is a bonus.
